Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy that goes
deeper than coping.
Understanding yourself, making sense of the past, and building a life that feels genuinely yours — not just manageable. Online sessions from wherever you are in the world.
You don't have to keep
pushing through alone.
Whether you're carrying the weight of past experiences, stuck in patterns you can't seem to break, or simply feeling that something is missing — psychotherapy offers a space to explore what's really going on, without judgement.
I work with an integrative approach, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), transpersonal and psychodynamic methods — shaped entirely around your needs, your pace and what you want your life to feel like.
30+ Years
Experience
More than managing symptoms — it's understanding yourself.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative talking therapy that helps you make sense of your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and experiences. Unlike a quick fix, it addresses the underlying patterns and beliefs that drive how you feel and act.
In sessions with Trevor, there is no agenda to push you somewhere you're not ready to go. The work is guided by you — your story, your goals, your pace. Over time, clients find themselves not just coping better, but understanding themselves in ways that create lasting, meaningful change.
Sessions take place online, making it easy to access high-quality, confidential therapy from the privacy of your own home — wherever you are in the world.
Psychotherapy can help with:
You don't need to be in crisis to reach out. If something doesn't feel right, that's reason enough.
Anxiety & Worry
Persistent anxiety, panic attacks, phobias and generalised worry that interferes with daily life and relationships.
Depression & Low Mood
Persistent low mood, loss of motivation, feelings of emptiness or hopelessness that colour your everyday experience.
Trauma & PTSD
Past experiences — childhood trauma, accidents, abuse or loss — that continue to affect how you feel and function today.
Relationship Difficulties
Patterns in relationships, difficulty trusting others, attachment issues or recurring conflict that feel impossible to break.
Low Self-Esteem
Negative core beliefs about yourself, self-criticism, imposter syndrome and a persistent sense of not being enough.
Burnout & Stress
Work-related stress, exhaustion, feeling overwhelmed or a deep sense of running on empty that rest alone can't fix.
Grief & Loss
Bereavement, relationship breakdown, redundancy and other life losses that can be difficult to process alone.
Life Transitions
Feeling stuck, lacking direction, navigating major life changes or simply sensing that something needs to shift.
High-Functioning Anxiety
Appearing capable on the outside while driven by worry, perfectionism and the constant fear of not doing enough.
A clear, compassionate process — shaped entirely around you.
Every person is different. There is no script or fixed timeline. But here is how we typically work together.
Initial conversation
A relaxed, no-obligation call to talk about what's brought you here, what you're hoping to change, and whether working together feels like the right fit — for both of us.
Assessment & goals
In early sessions we take time to understand your story, your history and what you most want to be different. There is no rush to fix anything before we understand it.
Tailored therapy
Using CBT, transpersonal and integrative approaches, we work through the patterns, beliefs and experiences at the root of how you feel — not just the surface symptoms.
Building new ways of living
Insight without action only goes so far. We work together to develop practical strategies and new perspectives you can carry into everyday life.
Reviewing & moving forward
Progress is reviewed regularly and therapy adapts as you do. When you're ready to close, we do that thoughtfully — making sure the gains hold beyond the sessions.
You remain in control
The pace, focus and direction of your therapy is always yours to guide. Trevor brings expertise and care — you bring the willingness to explore.
Real experiences, real change.

Both involve talking to a professional, but psychotherapy typically goes deeper and longer-term. It explores the roots of patterns and difficulties — including past experiences — rather than focusing mainly on present coping strategies. Trevor is trained in both and will adapt the approach to what you actually need.
-
There is no fixed number. Some people find significant relief in 6–12 sessions; others prefer longer-term work. Trevor reviews progress regularly with you and the length of therapy is always your choice. There is no pressure to continue beyond what feels useful.
-
Yes — all sessions are delivered online via a secure video platform. This means you can access therapy from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are in the world. Many clients find online therapy just as effective as in-person, with the added benefit of flexibility and privacy.
-
A relaxed, no-obligation video call to talk about what's brought you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and whether Trevor feels like the right fit. There is no pressure to book sessions afterwards — it's simply a chance to meet and ask any questions you have.
-
Yes. Everything discussed in sessions is confidential, in line with recognised professional codes of ethics. The only exceptions are situations where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others — and even then, Trevor would discuss this with you first wherever possible.
-
Absolutely. Many clients benefit from a combination of both. EMDR is particularly powerful for processing specific traumatic memories, while psychotherapy provides a broader framework for understanding and changing patterns. Trevor will discuss the most helpful approach for your situation.
