About Me
Meet Trevor Beech —
your therapist.
An experienced integrative psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience. Compassionate, skilled and deeply committed to helping you feel genuinely better — not just cope.
Experience
I understand what it feels like to want to make sense of yourself.
My journey into psychotherapy didn't begin in a lecture hall — it began at home. Growing up, my mother struggled with depression and my father with alcoholism. As an adult, I found myself wanting to understand not just them, but myself — my patterns, my responses, the things I carried without knowing.
"That curiosity became a vocation. And over 30 years, it has deepened into a genuine privilege — sitting with people in the moments that matter most."
Today I work as a qualified integrative psychotherapist, offering online therapy to individuals across the UK and worldwide. My approach draws on EMDR, CBT, transpersonal and psychodynamic methods — always shaped around the unique person in front of me.
I have worked with individuals, groups and company employees across a wide range of challenges: trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. Whatever brings you here, I will meet you with curiosity, care and no judgement.
Training & Qualifications
An integrative approach — built around you, not a protocol.
No two people are the same, and no good therapy treats them as if they are. I draw on multiple evidence-based approaches and weave them together in a way that serves your unique situation.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing — one of the most powerful evidence-based approaches for trauma, PTSD and distressing memories.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
CBT helps you understand the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviour — and develop practical tools to shift unhelpful patterns in your everyday life.
Transpersonal Therapy
A holistic approach that considers the whole person — body, mind and spirit — and explores meaning, purpose and the deeper dimensions of human experience.
Mindfulness & Somatic Work
Grounding techniques that help regulate the nervous system and bring you into the present moment — particularly useful alongside trauma-focused work.
Integrative & Psychodynamic
Understanding how early experiences and relationships shape the present — and how insight into those patterns can unlock meaningful, lasting change.
Coaching & Strengths-Based
Working with what is already strong in you — your resilience, resourcefulness and capacity for growth — alongside therapeutic insight and clinical skill.
What you can expect when you work with Trevor.
Choosing a therapist is a significant decision. Here is what clients consistently say about their experience.
You will feel heard
From the very first session, clients describe feeling genuinely listened to — not managed, not assessed, but truly heard. That experience alone can be transformative.
No judgement — ever
Whatever you bring, however long you've carried it, there is no shame here. A non-judgemental stance is not just professional policy — it is fundamental to how I work.
Deep experience you can trust
Over 30 years of clinical practice across individuals, groups and corporate settings means I have worked with the full range of human difficulty — and I bring all of that to our work.
Therapy that actually changes things
The goal is not just to understand yourself better — it is to feel different, act differently and build a life that reflects who you truly are. That is what we work towards together.
Company Director
employed
in parallel
"Running a company teaches you things no training course can. The weight of payroll. The loneliness of leadership. The gap between who you need to appear to be and how you actually feel."
— Trevor BeechWhat 35 years of business leadership brought to the therapy room.
For 35 years, Trevor ran his own company — directly employing up to 50 people and managing a wider network of subcontractors. He knows what it feels like to carry a payroll. To make decisions that affect other people's livelihoods. To present confidence to a team while quietly navigating uncertainty alone.
Throughout those years, he was simultaneously building his career as a psychotherapist. Not sequentially — in parallel. Which means the insight he brings to coaching and therapy is not theoretical. He has lived the reality that many of his clients are living right now.
This background shapes how Trevor works — particularly with business owners, leaders and professionals. He doesn't need things explained. He understands the particular kind of isolation that comes with leadership, the way anxiety can hide behind competence, and how hard it can be to admit to struggle when others are depending on you.
Having managed teams, budgets, growth and setbacks — Trevor brings genuine business literacy that most therapists and coaches simply don't have.
Having been a business owner himself, Trevor understands how long people wait before seeking support — and why. There is no judgement here, only recognition.
Many clients describe sessions as the one place they can be completely honest — about the business, about themselves — without consequence.
Real experiences, real change.
