Many people begin therapy believing they are broken. That something within them is damaged or unfixable. But in over 30 years as a trauma-informed psychotherapist, I’ve come to a very different understanding.
You are not broken. You are becoming.
What we often call symptoms—anxiety, emotional overwhelm, difficulty trusting, feeling disconnected—are not signs of failure. They are signs of survival. They reflect what has happened to you, not what’s wrong with you.
Healing from trauma is not about erasing the past. It’s about creating space for who you are becoming beyond it. As an experienced EMDR therapist, I support people through the process of gently and safely releasing the emotional charge of painful memories. EMDR therapy helps the brain do what it naturally wants: heal.
But psychotherapy is more than technique. I offer a deeply human, relational approach, integrating evidence-based trauma therapy and transpersonal insight. This means I honour the whole person, not just symptoms, but your deeper story, strengths, and sense of meaning.
I offer online psychotherapy sessions to people across the UK and internationally. Whether you’re living with PTSD, facing the after-effects of childhood trauma, or simply navigating a period of emotional difficulty, this space is for you.
